Since the release of XenDesktop 5, one of the most common questions asked of our consultants is, “Should I use Provisioning Services (PVS) or Machine Creation Services (MCS)?” Both options work and both options provide single image management. To answer this question correctly for your organization, I recommend starting with a different question, “What is my desktop virtualization solution going to look like?”. In other words, your organization’s desktop transformation roadmap plays an important role in helping you choose the right option. |
